LAURA M TURLEY, Owner
Licensed Massage Therapist
FL MA#72501
Certified Colon Hydrotherapist

As a corporate-girl-turned-licensed-massage-therapist, Laura created Professional Lymphatic Therapy by building a strong referral network of holistic practitioners in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties – practitioners who understand the value of a healthy lymphatic system – and by being responsive, compassionate and a consummate professional.  Laura realized there was a commonality to many of the maladies she witnessed on her table: a compromised immune system and congested lymph (inflammation) were, in fact, at the root of many of her patient’s health concerns. Hence, she focused on becoming the premier provider for this type of therapy in the Tampa Bay area.

Additionally, she possesses a strong background in management, training, workshop facilitation and instructional design. Laura is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), the Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce, the Pinellas Park Medical District and she currently sits on the board of the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area.

CHERIE MAINENTI,
Licensed Massage Therapist
FL MA#90882

Cherie Mainenti is a 2018 graduate of Cortiva School of Massage Therapy in St Petersburg, and she has her own mobile massage therapy business that she works on a part-time basis. For almost two decades, she’s worked full-time as a dispatcher with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, and I’d like to give her accolades for continued dedication to our community – Thank you, Cherie!!

Beyond that, Cherie has 30 years of firsthand experience with lymphedema. In 1993 her mother found out that she had primary, bilateral lymphedema in her legs.  When Cherie became her caregiver, she massaged and wrapped her legs in bandages. In 2004, she noticed her left foot started to swell towards the end of her workday. She then learned that she had primary, bilateral lymphedema in her legs. So, her understanding of and concern for people suffering with this malady is front & center of her daily life.

”I am very excited to focus my massage therapy on lymphedema and other causes of lymphatic congestion like surgery, autoimmune diseases and chronic illness.  Knowing how it feels, firsthand, gives me a unique advantage in helping clients. I am also excited to begin helping clients at Professional Lymphatic Therapy, because I have been a client for the past four years and know the warmth and professionalism of the studio and the relief that I receive from the treatments.”
